Thanks, well we covered almost 3000 miles, Ionity almost all the way apart from a couple of Tesla charges, good experience even of a weekend when roads were busy. A few chargers were running well below the 350 250 offered but usually 20 minutes done dusted.
It’s not a great area for fast chargers but a few around at kfc McDonald’s etc , try to get there pre busy periods, apparently dealer has high power 350 kWh but no one has confirmed if available out of hours?
I had same issue the day before leaving on my 1st ev European road trip, so called Porsche on the number from my card and miraculously within minutes it was working again And is still working.
Pretty close but it was nothing out the ordinary really and having the parking cameras kick it was easy enough.
was also surprised no trying to read instructions on a screen in the glare, was all done easily on phone app.
I got a lot of interest from Tesla drivers but I was pleased how easy to use through the Tesla app, didn’t hit 250kwh but a steady 110 soon got me up to 60% charge.
Hi Guys
Driving east to west across Northern Italy whats anybodies fast charging esperience been like, looks easy enough to get down to Italy using Tesla for non Tesla and Ionity, but then what ?
Took my Turbo to dealer today, they said we’re expecting heater units today but Porsche have recalled them back to Germany to rectify the fault (which was probably still in these units) car could now be there many days, btw 3 identical issues in compund another 2 booked in tomorrow.
Charged to 100% in preparation for a long journey, got in car now not getting warm inside, luckily travelled in alternate but boring car, returned next day still no heat inside car, used up 25% battery, so tried a timed charge to 85% with preheat, still no heat in car, any suggestions whilst...
Day 3 I got a decent scratch to nsf managed to get it diamond cut and looks like new, suppose I can consider myself lucky. Btw where do you rapid charge local as I spend 1/3 of my time in Southbourne?
Recently took ownership of a coastal apartment, no EV charging , other 5 occupants are interested in charge points to future proof there properties but want to wait and see if any quicker or more high powered solutions become available in near future? Is this a possibility?
