I can’t believe all these issues and still Porsche won’t acknowledge it. Surely the dealers are contacting them directly so they must be aware. Is there anything else we can do as customers.

Sorry to hear. The fault is caused by the DME SW bug. Your dealer should be able to add the patch for this. Porsche should really make a statement about this instead of waiting for customers to have a very scary expereince.

My dealer has recently added the patch discussed earlier in the thread. Porsche acknowledged the error and the patch does fix the issue. I would ask for this to be installed.

Very Interesting it’s due to the latest update. My incident did happen a week after the latest update. Hopefully this will evole over time but thanks for letting us know.

Mine was in normal mode not sport. It’s hard to get it out of your head once it’s happened and takes a lot of the joy away from a great car. I have no confidence left so will give it back or hopefully the above fix will sort the issue.

Yes I did lose steering which left me sat in the middle lane of busy dual carriageway. I was sat there for a few minutes which was not a nice experience.
