It turned out that the dealer failed to remove one of the bump stops used for transportation to the dealer when I took delivery, and that was somehow causing this noise.
Standard limestone beige has been fine for me. I did not think full leather was worth the cost. Occasionally I'm a little disappointed looking at the dashboard material and stitching compared to the full leather I have in my X7, but most of the time I'm enjoying the car so much I don't think...
I live on the east side of the SF Bay where it is full sun almost every day in the summer and can get to be over 40C. Excessive heat (although I do have the thermal glass) and sunlight have not been a problem so far, 2 months in.
I just used livermore to get some rattling fixed. it took a little back and forth to get it scheduled, but ended up using their valet service. they brought out a boxster loaner and got the problem fixed quickly.
i had a good purchasing experience at walnut creek but have not used them for...
I had a good experience buying from Walnut Creek, they move a lot of Taycans. Agreed that Livermore and Fremont were not very responsive, I assumed because they did not have allocations. livermore has been good for service however.
Sounds like I am inside a cargo van. This is on the passenger side, seems like it might be from the seatbelt retractor inside the pillar.
Has anyone else experienced this, ideas on how to resolve? Will be taking into the dealer but looking to go in with as much info as possible.
Thanks
I would guess that this is not related to the Sirius XM subscription status, since you should still have access to their promo channel even without an active subscription. I did notice that my radio ID is missing under Sirius XM settings - I'm pretty sure that it was listed there before, so...
Really strange, this Sirius XM issue popped up for me, seemingly right after I was able to log into my account for the first time (was suffering from red SOS light / greyed out login button for last 5 weeks). Same thing when switching back to guest account.
i’ve been stuck in this situation for the last 4 weeks since i took delivery (AMB5 update applied). for some others in this situation it has fixed itself. Porsche Connect has not been able to help - keep spinning in circles with them.
100% agree. I have never noticed this kicking in, with the green A light on the dash, after 4 weeks of driving. My BMW's work even driving around my neighborhood at low speeds, which is super helpful.
Thanks Yeah I think that is my next step. Hopefully dealer will take ownership of it and track down someone who knows what’s going on. Have been hoping that it would fix itself and I could avoid that hassle
yeah I’ve had a case open for about 3 weeks, and have been calling every 2-3 days to ask the status. The rep has to track down the case owner, who is always on another call and promises to call back, but has only done so once. Yet another person from mobility is supposed to be looking at the...
Used the same method as outlined above in the Bay Area, probably got in touch with 5 dealerships until I found one that seemed to have allocations and was willing to play ball. This is also the dealer that seems to move the most Taycans in the area. Unfortunately only found this one dealer that...
There are a lot of dealers in the Bay Area so I'd suggest to email around to get an idea of who's willing to play ball. The dealers that do more volume and have more allocations seem to be more willing to discount. I ordered back in April, I'm guessing things have tightened up since then. I can...
I didn't option this on the Taycan, but have it on my other two cars. I use it mostly as an assist on longer trips on the highway, with hands on the wheel. I haven't found it to be that useful, accurate, or necessary on back or country roads.
