Heater replaced, took two weeks but car is fine now, could be worse with parts supply issues. On another note I was looking at updating our family vehicle and was told there is a two year wait due to supply issues. Strange world we live in right now.
My heater stopped working last week, not great dealing with a Canadian winter. They have had the car for a week, no eta for the part, which sucks because I am paying a Taycan 4S lease and driving a base Macan. Anyone have any updates on heater availability/eta? Dealer says parts are on back order.
All this could be related to chip shortages and supply chain issues, many of my friends have delays on new cars lasting many months, not really the dealers fault but I sympathize.
This is the best option if you have 20" rims, as you can get a set of tires for 2K, unfortunately I have 21" Mission E's, winter tires alone are almost 5K so I went with the 20" Tire/Rim OEM package from Porsche, which was over $7K, as smaller tire recommended in winter.
I was searching for winter tires after reading this article:
https://globalnews.ca/news/8213313/tire-shortage-pandemic/
I found nothing on TireRack, so I reached out to my dealer and he had only 2 sets of winter/tire packages in stock for the Taycan 4S (20", I have Mission E's and they have to...
I have ordered ALK from the Porsche Connect Store but the website keeps telling me activation in progress, says it can take up to 10 minutes but it's been stuck on this for almost a week, frustrating to say the least.
I have leased 4 Porsches (3 911s, Macan S, Taycan 4S) which were all used as daily drivers, and paid nothing on lease return. I returned the car to the dealer and got into a new Porsche, and leased from Porsche Financial Services, not a third party. I think these two factors are key to returning...
I put my McLaren up for sale and wanted a new car before the new car luxury tax starts in Canada in January (10% of total cost paid to the Government on delivery whether bought or leased!). I was looking at ordering a 911 GTS but could not get one until next year. My salesperson said he could...
I am disappointed in the new and last gen 911. It is bigger, more quiet with the Turbo engines, and is more like a GT to me than a sports car. Other than the GT3/2 variations, it is also average on the track. I actually prefer my Taycan 4S over the previous three 911s I have owned, it is not...
I have a CWM Porsche, interestingly I have never had a white car but now I have 2, white with matching Mission E wheels looks awesome, but may be getting a little too common in some areas. I have had a few black cars in the past and they are difficult to keep clean, as many have mentioned...
