I have a 2022 Cross Turismo version and absolutely love it. I know a bunch of people who own a taycan and love it too. Basically, I heard your pov but everybody I know knows the car is as awesome as a car can get :)
I got this same error today and was able to continue drive in to work. When returning back, the parking brake would not release and I had to go into settings "Parking brakes" selection and run detection on it. Ran it a few times to no avail. Eventually just turned off the car. Turned on and the...
How long does the keyfob battery typically last? When I got my car, I used to get the "keyfob not detected" warning so replaced the batteries about 3-4 months back. The warning didnt happen after that, though it has now happened twice in the last 2 weeks. I am wondering if the battery is out...
Its copper AWG6 in non metal sheath with 3 conductors and ground (was previously connected to NEMA 14-50 receptacle). I am unable to read the rating on the sheath itself due to the metal conduit through which we are passing the wire.
I got my chargepoint home charger hardwired and the electrician was able to put it on 60 amp breaker since the wire is rated for 55 amps (6 AWG). However I found this in the chargepoint installation document:
CAUTION: Home Flex is a continuous load device. The circuit must be rated for 125% of...
With all the weekend research behind me, I have decided to go hardwire route. Will have electrician come over to do that for us. However since the current NEMA receptacle is a bit lower than where I have the chargepoint installed, I am wondering if we would need to run a new wiring direct to the...
I will inquire about the 60 amp breaker but that might get expensive. But, won't I need the upgraded charger to get the charge rate of 11kW? I thought the default was 9.6kW
I hope this would not invalidate the warranty given the chargepoint installation manual lists steps to do a hardwired installation.

However, I will still reach out to customer support and confirm.
I have a chargepoint home flex EVSE that I currently plug into a non hubbell NEMA 14-50. I wonder if its just better to hardwire the evse and eliminate the failure/melting point. Thoughts?
I checked on my porsche app again and when creating timer it says "To ensure long battery life, a charge target of 85% is recommended". So I just left the target at 85%.
I currently charge my car up to the recommended 85% daily. My daily driving typically consumes about 25% of battery on weekdays. Curious what is better for the longevity of the battery, charging daily or let it go down to 30-35% before charging.
keys were in my pocket when this happened. And I did not have my phone or any other electronic device in my pocket at the time. I will try replacing the batteries but this is just 2 day old car, though it sat at the port for a very long time so dont know if that somehow drained the batteries.
I picked up a MY 2022 CT this weekend and on 3 different occasion the "keyfob not detected" issue has popped up. On the last occasion it was while I was backing out of my driveway and it put the car in neutral. After putting the keyfob in cupholder it worked. Is this something I need to worry...
Trying to decide which of these I should go with for my Cross Turismo. The quote for CQuartz Finest is quite a bit more that the one for Modesta, but I dont know if the quality and durability is also better.
Thanks
Does TYD ever show the car status as "Arrival Porsche Dealer" given that the car doesnt actually go to the dealer? My car has been sitting in port processing stage for a few weeks now and past the timeline when it should have gone into Arrival Porsche Dealer state. Trying to figure out if the...
