I charge to 90-95% overnight on weekend pretty regularly, which means I can get through my entire work week comfortably without charging during the week (that's 5 days of commute with 30ish mile round trip daily).
I looked around for alternative options in December and was able to get 7.4 from Forza Finance underwritten by Santander. That was by far the best available then. Look around you might be able to get better rates than Porsche but certainly won't get anywhere near what was on offer 6-9 months ago...
Definitely not anything scraping on the road, sounds like something else altogether. Only happens when turning into a steep surface from a flat road.
I'll see how it goes and maybe get dealer to take a look, if it persists.
Just wondered if anyone else had come across something similar...
There is a quite a noticeable 'crunching' sound from the rear of our new Taycan GTS ST when turning on to a steep drive off the road.
I don't think this is to do with Ackerman effect as I understood that only impacted front tyres.
Our car does have RWS with PSP.
Has anyone else noticed this...
I have made a few calls today. Best HP deal i have seen is from Lombard at just under 8% for around 95k over 48 months followed by Charles and Dean at around 9% for the same.
Anyone have any experience with Lombard? or can suggest anyone else I should try.
Have nothing from Porsche yet. Will...
I know this has been asked before and I have searched the UK forums but can't seem to find the threads discussing this.
Who do people use is UK to get some alternative commercial options other than Porsche themselves.
Expecting our GTS to arrive next month...
So, I have managed to pick up a cancellation as I was next in queue anyway. Looks like I will be getting my GTS ST a little sooner than expected. Still over 12 months of wait after having placed the order on the day it was announced back in Nov 21.
I now have an allocation which has locked (as...
Thank you for all the input. We are leaning towards Carrara White. Our current Cayenne GTS is white (std/flat) so thinking Carrara White will be a subtle but noticeable 'upgrade'.
This is the final build code: PPFCR5I8
Getting close to hopefully getting an allocation for our Gts ST.
What people's opinion on these two colours?
We have always had white cars but wondering if this time to make the switch to chalk.
The black contrast of GTS should go well with either colours I suppose...
I would avoid Wilmslow like the plague!
Can highly recommend Porsche Bolton instead. Much better prices, much better service and just much better attitude all round.
I can confirm this too. Dealership getting allocations for the rest of this year - so q3 and q4 builds in the coming weeks.
The have already received this for some product lines; Cayenne for example but nothing for Taycan yet.
Looks beautiful. Pretty damn close to my spec! Can you please post some more pictures!!?
What do you make of Carrara White? I have been toying between the two whites and chalk…
They are the same. Infact ride heights for GTS in both flavours is the same as the Sedan.
If clearance is tight even in lift, might be worth considering a CT…?
I’m interested in this too. Is there a simple way to determine dealership size? By how many cars they sell in a year? Is that sort of info publicly available?
I'll add some anecdotal experience in relation to PSCB. This thread jogged my memory. Whilst I was test driving different taycans last year to narrow down on which options to select for my build. I do recall somewhat 'spongy' brakes in the taycan that had PSCB vs the one that had STD. In the end...
