This just reared its head today…2022 Taycan…no PPF. Should I schedule a visit? This seems to be a pretty important safety defect, at least to me. I have not reset the PCM….yet.

Try deleting the app from your phone and tell the car to forget your phone. Reinstall the app and then reconnect your phone to the PCM.

Try this… Update….after some additional research, I have once again told my phone to forget the Taycan WI-FI and everything is working perfectly, connecting right up upon getting in, CarPlay working as it should and the MyPorsche App working perfectly, updating/tracking state of charge, lock...

Thanks to all who shared possible issue resolutions for this most recent update, two different error messages initially…then the two finger reboot and the update loaded as designed. Minor hiccup…onward.

I don’t have it, but if you are pulling in or out of a parking spot, if you cut the steering wheel hard left let’s say, the left rear tire should be turning inward (the opposite direction) so a quick look after you put the car in park should let you know. I‘ll let the experts jump in though.
