I have had my car for 18+months and only tried charging outside of my house once. When I plugged it in at EA, it worked without issue. I can’t really see myself ever waiting for a charge. I prefer to charge my car like I charge my phone….while I sleep.
Alcantara is essentially microfiber. It’s pretty durable when not abused. There are many videos on YT on how to clean and rejuvenate. It’s not for me but I wouldn’t worry about it being durable.
If depreciation is a key part of this decision, then Toyota would be a good option. Having owned all 3 of the cars mentioned, my ranked choice is Taycan, Panamera, and Macan (distant 3rd). Macan is a great vehicle but not in the same class as the others. The only thing that would change my...
If you have all of the performance options, then the three controls make sense. You can change suspension settings at the click of one button, raise the car with the click of one other and lastly, you can change drive modes (which changes the various characteristics of the suspension...
I still maintain that EVs will follow an iphone type curve in terms of value. 911 is more akin to Rolex. I dont ever see an iphone holding any real value over time and I think the Taycan (like other EVs) will suffer the same fate.
As someone with a fully PPF’d vehicle, I say no. Best to get a ceramic coating and a bottle of touch up paint for most people. If you really want to get PPF anyway, I would do the front clip and the roof if its glass.
I don’t have these but ACC and HUD would make long distance travel more comfortable. I would also optimize my wheel and tire selection if I was planning on road tripping the Taycan.
We are all just speculating based on the photos but it is very possible that stain/visual condition could be cleaned up very easily. That would be the lesser of my two concerns here. My bigger concern is that it appears that fairly significant amount of liquid entered the back seat(s)...
I’ve only ever charged my car overnight …except for once to make sure that plug and charge works. Just like my iPhone, I have no idea how long it takes to charge since I only charge while I sleep. If I had to choose, I would take efficiency over charging speed.
