You’re assuming you know the ‘plan’, but you don’t. Porsche doesn’t produce pro rata volumes of every model equally throughout the year, nor does it changeover every production line at the same time in a given year. You must be new to Porsche. It is not uncommon for Porsche to stop production...
Porsche halts production of models all the time. Literally, every year. Anytime there is a model version change, there is usually a gap between cessation of the old version and starting production on the new one.
People keep saying this, but the disc size is identical (410mm) and the caliper housing is nearly the same size. I was parked next to a Turbo S with PCCB on Thursday and the brakes look nearly identical save for caliper color.
Talk about a click bait article headline…
They’re negotiating with the unions through the media. Gotta cut costs, both labor and infrastructure. VW will be just fine. The sooner they get the ID Buzz, and the EV GTI, to the US, the better. My ‘23 GTI is fantastic.
My ‘22 had a sticker of $142.5, but with tax credits, it cost me about $135k. I assumed 17% depreciation for each of the first three years. So, today, at the two year point, I assumed it would be worth $89k. I priced it aggressively to sell at $85k and have a buyer (and 2-3 backups...
Thanks. I think it’s a great build, but everyone has their preferences. I always lean to the performance options versus the comfort/tech. And I don’t care for glass roofs for a number of reasons, hence the tintop, which not everyone likes.
Ah, I missed the wheels on the 2020. That’s a good $4k IIRC.
$135k still seems high for a car with standard brakes and zero performance options. Maybe offer $60k on that one if you love it. You need to inspect the paint though, as that color can be swirl city if the owner wasn’t meticulous.
That 2020 is a low spec car and JBM isn’t a color, it’s an obsession. The ‘21 is a high spec car, but geez that‘s a lot of mileage and very little warranty remaining. Also, the standard interior looks really plasticky on the Taycan. I’ve had it on Porsche sports cars and could live with it on...
Yeah I’ve checked them both but their offerings are equal to or more expensive than the Porsche indoor cover. I love the Porsche indoor covers, I just think the price is nuts. I think all the manufacturers are overpriced for their indoor covers.
Dad!
I just don’t need the car and I’m not driving it. If I don’t sell it, it’s just gonna get covered up and driven once every month or two. Not worth taking up the garage for that. But it’s a terrific car and I’ll keep it if I don’t get an offer.
One that’s cheaper than the Porsche cover from Suncoast? I may be storing my car for a while and was looking around for an indoor cover that was decent but didn’t cost $350+.
