I have an Easee One and it is very simple and convenient. I have it scheduled to only charge at night when I get a cheaper tariff, and it can tell me how much I've spent on charging and how much power it has put out to do that. I have a cable tethered to it for convenience but you don't need to...
So far ... none 🤞🏻
The way I avoid curbing is to always reverse up to a curb when parallel parking and using the side mirror cameras to check the distance from the curb to the back wheel. You can see pretty clearly how far away you are so I keep that to 2-3 inches and then crank the steering...
Thanks for the reply. When you say most GB market cars are supplied with winter tyres I assume you are mainly referring to Porsches, or other more performance focused brands? I would imagine most 'normal' cars are supplied with All Season tyres, like our other car, a lowly Fiesta.
My issue was...
Hi All,
I have seen a number of posts on the validity of fitting winter tyres, but I have a question with a bit of a twist on that ...
I have a leased GTS that arrived from factory with Pirelli P0 Summer tyres. My lease agreement covers replacement tyres (which is fortunate as I just had the...
I've only ever noticed the <20% power reduction, and then the difference is very noticeable. I'd compare it to changing from Normal to Sports Plus, but in the opposite direction to Normal, if that makes sense.
I've not seen any reduction in power due to low temperatures (and its been dipping to...
At the end of the day, it is a very minor update really. The front bumper and the headlights are the only notable differences, and most people who don't own one already won't notice those without them being pointed out.
Personally, I think the bumper looks okay, but the new light design feels...
I'm still lusting after the 718 Spyder RS at moment. It's gorgeous.
Its sad the ICE variant needs to die for this to be born, but that it what it is I suppose
I have also switched over to OI in the last couple of weeks. It was a no brainer for me as I was already with Octopus and I was previously paying ~33p/kWh and am now paying ~31p/kWh peak and 7.5p/kWh overnight.
So far the 'intelligent' charging has worked fine for me, controlled through the...
Interesting. I'm 6' 2" and currently 120kg but I find the 18-way seats very comfortable. I'm heavy because I'm carrying a lot of muscle though, so maybe that makes a difference. With that in mind, I would imagine dropping down to the 100kg mark will really help.
I also have a pretty similarly...
I still think the new headlight design is a big backward step. I’d rather they incorporated more cutouts than drop the teardrops
It doesn’t bode well for the exposed rear tyre design of the Mission R making it into production on the EV Cayman
Seems like the biggest thing they're looking at changing is the lights but the new design is such a backward step. Maybe they're changing them for better aerodynamics but they're sacrificing too much of the Mission-E DNA with the new look in my opinion.
I think it would depend on the model. The GTS has the same motors as the Turbo but my understanding is that it is just detuned compared to its big brother.
I’d certainly consider paying a subscription to up the power in mine, despite how potent it is already.
Yikes! I'm very conscious that my car is on summer tyres (so it doesn't officially like temperatures below 7 degrees celcius), but +£20k from an angry curb is enough to put anybody off squeezing the trigger a little too hard on a bend.
Good luck with the fix
I'm only a week into ownership but I really like the sports sound. It adds another dimension to driving, and I like that adds sound outside the car. Its a safety feature in residential areas, but we have lots of foxes local to us too and it seems to be alerting them to the car's presence...
