If I have a PECLA date confirmed for late August, should I wait as long as possible (until just before PECLA) to pay the dealer, in the case there is a last minute stop sale? Or will the dealer pressure me to pay well in advance?

Do you guys know if your electrician needed 6/3 wire or 6/2 wire for the 14-50 NEMA outlet? Looks like it's a pretty big price difference over the long 100 foot run I need to run.

I had a mid August delivery through Long Beach, but interestingly, in the last few days, delivery was moved UP to 7/22 with a PECLA delivery through the port of Houston! Go figure!

I doubt it would come from Porsche, but I wonder how long before a tuner figures out how to do it, without bricking the car. Not sure how the code is written obviously, but it seems more invasive than the traditional ECU tuner flashes in ICE cars.

Has anyone done an analysis that a lease is a safer bet than a purchase if you only plan to keep the car around 4 years? I'd love to have some people smarter than me chime in on that topic....
