Yeah I am also of your opinion and although I am gutted to have returned mine and also canceled the new one on order I will no doubt go back in for one in a year or two when the reliability is much better.
Yeah that's what I put it down to. Anyone can get a bad car, unfortunately my local porsche Dieector thought differently and his arrogance caused me to cancel the other one I had on order. I am absolutely gutted but let's see what next year brings. Glad your Taycan has been good to you, it was...
Shit I just looked at the link and thought it was our car but ours had just over 8500 miles on the clock when we returned it. I am gonna dig a little deeper lol
I would doubt it to be honest as we are only leaving the tax book back tomorrow as it took that long for it to be returned to us from the Tax office after purchase....at this moment in Time Porsche don't own the car until tomorrow
Glad to hear that. Yeah I wouldn't have minded an odd call back into the dealer but sometimes you get a bad gut feeling about a car and with the amount of issues I encountered it just put me off. I would say I might go again in a year or two but for the minute no Taycan for me 😥
I have to say I looked at E-Tron GT, Tesla(Boke lol) Mercedes GLE Hybrid and a fee other machines as I want the benefits of a nice car and economy. Out of them nothing compared to the Taycan for looks etc but I also have to say I absolutely loved the I4 M50....and over 300 mile range 😀 😄
Yeah it was just under a year old when purchased. I ordered the new one in February but couldn't wait so when they called me to tell me they had a 2021 car with 7k on the clock I went to look at it and loved it so bought it with the view to trading it back when the new one came. I had put it...
Yeah although I had a bad experience with this one wouldn't have made me cancel my other one, the reason for cancelling my other one was the Arrogance of the director within the dealership. I hope you keep it on order and all works out great
Yeah to be honest I genuinely loved the car outside of the issues I encountered and had my dealership been more understanding and said the right things to make me confident that the new one would be reliable (I don't mean bullet proof but just reliable that I'm not back twice a week) but just...
Yeah I suppose it is everyone own choice and if these issues had of happened over a period of say 6 months then I would have been more understanding but to have a car 25 days and have to return to the workshop so often which is 1.5 hour drive there and back each time isn't for me and as I said...
Thanks, I just ordered a BMW I4 M50 Grand Coupe to tie me over and see how that one goes. All electric too with 316 miles range. Completely different to the Taycan but let's hope when the dust settles I may reconsider next time I'm changing.
It is with great regret that I took the decision. To return my beautiful 2021 Taycan 4S after just 25 days of ownership, reason being the amount of issues I had in the this short space of time was ridiculous.
1- sensor in windscreen had to be re-calibrated
2-dip beam fault
3-two sensors went...
