I also purchased the ChargePoint Home Flex (from Amazon). Love it! The Porsche EVSE looks cool, but I had to have it replaced due to frequent ground faults. The replacement still occasionally ground faults and when it does, my Taycan is not charged, and to my dismay in the morning I find my...
Actually, I use voice command a lot--changing radio stations (both in FM and Sirius XM). Also, use it for navigation (if not using maps in Apple Carplay.).
I traded 2017 Panamera 4S for Taycan Turbo. Agree with the above comment, and would add, that I like the Taycan much more than the Panamera notwithstanding those comments. For me, the Panamera was always a little too large for a 4 passenger car.
BTW, took by 2020 Taycan Turbo into my dealership in response to a factory recall related to the airbag controller, and I asked dealership folks about fact that neither the "Connect" app or the "My Porsche" app would connect to my Tacyan, but both apps will connect to my 2022 Targa 4S...
I downloaded the new app, but when it said I needed to delete old Connect App I got cold feet :(
Hopefully someone out there still using the Connect App can advise me, otherwise I guess I can warm up my feet and march forward :)
The app cannot connect to EITHER my 2020 Taycan Turbo or 2022 Targa 4S. Connection status shows Porsche Server connected to my phone and my home Wi-Fi network but not to either vehicle. For each auto, app says "Vehicle Not Available."
Called my Porsche service tech who said he had received...
I traded my Panamera 4S for Taycan Turbo. Love the TT much more than the Panamera. Its more comfortable and more compact (I thought Panamera was a little large for what it was--a four passenger luxury spot sedan). As for the 911, I have 992 Targa 4S. It is about as quick as the TT, more...
Had my 2020 Turbo updated about 3 weeks ago. Everything seemed fine and as advertised. Last week, however, when I had the map displayed in the instrument cluster, the display no longer shifted out of "night mode", to the brighter, more colorful, "day mode". I've scrolled through the menus to...
My 2020 was updated yesterday. Took day and a half. Apparently broke the clock, which needs to come from Germany. Otherwise things seem to work fine. PCCM remembered my settings.
Discovered ambient colored lighting, which maybe I had before—don’t know. Love wireless Apple Carplay.
PS, my...
I just dropped my 2020 Turbo off this morning. My dealer said some updates going relatively smoothly, with a couple not. He said Porsche was paying for 4 hours of updating, which was unfair, as it took much longer.
I see you are in Minneapolis, as am I. I’m hoping my all weather tires on the same wheels will work, especially since will be doing mainly urban driving. All weather tires seemed to work on my 2017 Panamera 4S. Guess I’ll see, right now, maybe I’m just being cheap.
BTW, I received multiple books as well. Interestingly, I thought they were duplicates, and they almost were. BUT, one was prepared having “English” as part of the manual, and one had section for “U.S.“ Go figure.
