I have 20% all around and the car looks fantastic with Carrera White. I also am amazed at the lack of heat in the car when it's been sitting all day in the sun in the high 90's. I would definitely try the darker tint.
I would simply order the standard Porche vent covers that come with the powered charging door. You'll see them every time you get into your car, so I'd want something that is/looks OEM.
On a related subject, I believe the 'vents' are more of a styling feature than a practical aerodynamic...
That is what I do, and it works great - no sliding around and they're right there when you need them. But I love this idea if you don't have the storage option or prefer to use the area for something else. Brilliant!
Isn't it obvious? For only $30K or so you can ruin both the appearance and the aerodynamics of an amazingly beautiful and aerodynamic car. What a bargain.
I think it's great that people want to customize their cars and add features to personalize the look. I can't think of much that is more individual than what your car looks like, and personally I put a lot of emphasis on making sure my car looks as good as I can make it. For me, this meant...
I have exactly the same problem with my leg/hip/back on the left side. Like you, I am not old, but my back has been doing it's job for 65 years. I've had some problems but have a stretching and exercise routine that allows me to shovel multiple driveways and do whatever I need, so I really...
I don't think the point of this forum is to discuss world problems. If it was, I wouldn't be here - plenty of places to go for that. Now Porsche key fob covers - where else are you going to talk about that??:like:
Well, just got the 'white' key fob bits and assembled, and it looks kind of cheap. It doesn't look bad, just not particularly high quality. Worth the $15 chance that it looks good, but I'll stick with the black.
I did order the white from
Looks great - how does it look compared to the OEM product? Does it look good or is it more like a toy? I've ordered the same thing, and I have carrera white. I'm not anticipating a match, but I'm hearing the OEM keys scratch very easily.
This is an absolute must IMO, but a minor correction - the side/rear reflectors are still red!!
There is a thread for replacing these as well, and I thought about it, but probably not - it's somewhat of a safety issue...
I have to agree. I cut out custom shapes using the TechArmor screen protectors for all the exposed screens except the driver display. The edges were all perfect and pretty much undetectable, so I was pretty proud of the job I'd done. I removed the dash screen protectors almost immediately...
Is anyone considering how difficult these elements are to keep clean?? The rear gets dirty very fast, and the existing horizontal slats are a pain to keep clean. Black vertical fins just above the road surface in the rear will be dirt magnets - and will look like crap unless cleaned on a daily...
OK, not to be too much of a stickler here, but can you give me a reasonably probable situation where you'd have 4 people in the car and need to stick something (4 sets of skis??) through the center 20%? I don't ever have a situation where I'm heading to Home Depot with 4 people in the car - ha...
You've got the benefit of having a protective wrap on the car. Plus you get the benefit of having the full orange/blue livery. I'm partial to this of course...;)
I wouldn't change a thing. $3,300 for the radar/laser plus install and $800 for the mirror display. The place is Eclipse Window Tinting, and you can call 513-321-8468 and ask for Rick and he can advise you where to go in your area. Fantastic shop, he took me through a number of 'learning...
It is really amazing. Display shown in mirror and controller is about the size of a flashdrive, dark silver with blue lighting matching the interior and ambient lighting. The mirror display can be dimmed, but I set it to max bright so you can see it.
The system automatically registers all...
