Anyone with PIWIS?

I had read that when the car is in service mode, the HV battery is disconnected for safety, which is why the power supply is required. Here is where I read that:

When PIWIS3 connects, you should be seeing a warning on the IC that the HV battery is energized. You might be talking about disabling the HV battery via a physical switch under the good (it even has a padlock lockout feature) which is done for safety when servicing HV components.

Hi all,

Has anyone with PIWIS on a J1.1 (without SFD2/gateway lock) tried enabling Comfort Access (4F2)?

Specifically looking for:

• which control unit actually carries the activation (BCM1/BCM2, instrument cluster, or is it only achievable via the VO/PR number + automatic coding?)
• the name of the bitfield/coding value (e.g. "comfort_access", "PASE", "keyless_entry" or similar)
• whether simple manual coding is enough, or whether (like on some other models) it requires a separate Porsche-generated coding set

Background: hardware seems to already be present on most cars based on several reports here in the forum, so this should just be a software-side switch. If anyone has tried this (successfully or not), I'd really appreciate any pointers.

Anyone around essex, or London with a PIWIS & VAG ECU.

I wanted to try unlock some features like PIRM, InnoDrive and comfort access.

I already have the hardware built into the car.

Trying to get equipment to access the BCM/ECU modules to change the settings.
