This might work great for those of you with the "murdered out" theme going on. I bought it while waiting on the car and then decided I wanted the silver one. Brand new. Opened the box to look at it that is it.

I paid $57 shipped to me. Make me an offer.

I believe they hand paint them and it has the Porsche part number on the back and metal. Says because they are hand painted could have imperfections, but I dd not see any. I felt the quality was very good. I put the silver and black one on my car.

I doubt that it is an OEM part since the replacement emblem is $99.95 at most suppliers. PCNA will send out a cease and desist letter shortly to be sure. They are very protective of their brand and infringements.
Here is the actual crest. It feels like an original one, decent weight and metal, has the part number and stamping in the exact same location as Maybe the company buys them from Porsche and repaints? I have no knowledge of that; pure speculation.

I did the sliver and black to match the Wheel crests.

Could you please share a link for the silver and black crest? I'm looking for one to go on my black Tycan.

Was it simple to install btw?

Here is the link to where I bought the solid black and the black and silver (changed my mind and went with the silver and black). I do remember it took a little longer to get in stock.

The install is easy. There is a rubber grommet under the hood crest inside the hood. I forget the size of the speed nuts, but very easy to undo. I held the hood perpendicular as I did it as the nuts could fall off inside (though my tool held them). They advise you to buy replacement nuts (I could not find any), but I reused mine and going great 10 months later.

I also bought the silver and black valve stems so all my exterior crests match. Now if I could just find the steering wheel one I would be set.

Thanks PDA, I really appreciate your help.

The original crest seems to be covered with some sort of clear resin or epoxy which makes it somewhat smooth. Is the silver one also covered with the same material? I can't tell from the photos on the site. Or does it have small crevices where dirt and dust would get caught in them?

No. Sold long time ago. I bought it at aasesales.com if you want to see if they still have them.
