Charge o mat pro

Hi everyone. I wanted some advice. I had a dead 12v battery issue. Replaced it . Everything is fine and also bought a Porsche charge o mat pro . I've read the manual and everything . As I am not going to use the car for over 2-3 months I have charged the big battery to 85 percent and used the Porsche trickle charger. It has 3 options. Motorcycle car and li ion . When I did the li ion after like 45mins the power started flashing meaning something not right. I have used the car mode now and it's working fine. Showing full battery for past 1 day. But I think car mode is for lead acid batteries. Don't want anything to mess up again. Porsche adviser said it detects automatically and car mode should be fine but the way he spoke was unsure.

I don't think you need to take these measures but that's just me. Porsche advise in the owners manual to leave your EVSE connected should any top up be required - HV battery tops up the 12v. Worth a look in case I've got this wrong.
