Thank you so much for putting me on your list and reserving a set of the bike bars for me. After checking with local authorities here in Germany, I’ve found out that using these custom-made bars would unfortunately require extensive modifications, including additional lighting, a separate license plate holder, and a costly official certification process. Without these modifications, I’d also risk losing my insurance coverage, which makes it impractical for me.





Considering these restrictions, I’ll have to withdraw from the purchase. I’d be happy if you could pass my reserved set on to the next person merlin9 interested.

Single for sure, but do you know if I could use the double with a single carrier tray….then would be in for the double.

Yes you can use the double with only one tray mounted in either location.

Single is 9" (23 cm) shorter in overall length. I feel like is less of a chance someone will hit the bike carrier while I'm parked and out on the bike.

Good point. Just not so many times I would be out by myself…..so I guess I am in for the double….now just have to start saving for tariffs coming across the border!

I was playing with the concept of having a modular bar to be able to add or remove sections for 1, 2 or 3 bikes but I don't anticipate much interest and this would increase cost.
