Sorry to revive an old thread but mine started to do this following a visit (towing) to the dealer. They said e-brake shoes, disk and pads had to be replaced. Figured it was kinda BS for an EV and decided to do it myself.
Everything still had 80%+ live left. Still replaced the e-brake shoes but the error stayed.
Saw this post that hinted on being caused by a bumpy ride on the trailer. Anyone know a way to force reconfigure/calibrate the e-brake without the PIWIS? I want to go through all the possibility before calling the dealer, again.
I might also be missing something obvious with the shoe replacement procedure.
