Towed the car for an electrical failure (red) Sunday. Just got word from the SA that their system can communicate with the car, but not start. They are doing a "PRMS." Anyone have any idea what that is? Sounds like calling Germany for tech support.

I've heard that term before – I believe PRMS stands for "Porsche Request Management. System". I am not sure exactly what it is – but your guess that it is an internal ticketing system to request technical support seems reasonable.

Thanks Damien. The service manager finally called me regarding the lack of loaner and I asked him about it. The PRMS is when they cannot diagnose the issue at the dealership and it opens a ticket with Porsche. He said it goes into a queue and it gets selected usually within 24-48 hours. Porsche connects to the car and determines what needs to be addressed and gives the dealer directions on what to do.

Hi PDACPA, i have same issue pls after your car visit to porsche what was the issue. and what got replaced.
