You can take an actual Prius, change the body a little so it looks different, put the badges and it will sell for $300k easy, as “anti global warming, conscientious Ferrari for responsible owners”, with silent acknowledgment of a next Speciale or Aperta allocation attached.
It’s really getting silly and got me out of this game around the time of F12 introduction.

As for Luce, I am truly disappointed with the end result, waited for that car with an open mind, EV being a plus as I already had a Plaid, Sapphire and Taycan Turbo GT most recently and learned to appreciate the superior culture of power delivery, response and dynamics of high performance electric cars.
…but this?
Without the badges it could be mistaken for some new Chinese family hatch, performance likely matching a 6 year old Plaid but I expect inferior to Taycan/Lucid/AMG.
The praised ( likely because the scribes had to find something, anything to praise) interior, in all honesty, looks more like something you would find in a new utility work van, a Ford Transit ilk, just with better quality materials.
In the end though, regardless of what a total crap that is, worth not a penny over $200k, it will still sell like hotcakes as Ferrari’s arrogance has no bounds and gullibility of their customers likewise.
When they introduced the SUV, a mediocre and unattractive vehicle on it its own I thought they finally did it to themselves, thought it would be the Ferrari poster child of undesirability and horrible resale value.
I underestimated their customer base again and was proven wrong, again.
Unfreakinbelievable………………

I think it is very unlikely that many on this forum will love the exterior design of the Luce. I certainly don’t, but maybe I’m missing the point.

Reading between the lines by watching some of the YouTube reveals of the Luce from Petrolheads such as Shmee, it is very clear that this car was designed for Silicon Valley Tech bros with young families rather than Jeremy Clarkson type Ferrari Petrolheads. My understanding is that tech bros type influencers were given priority over normal reviewers in the reveal.

Ferrari are clearly gunning with the Luce for a completely different market from their conventional one. If indeed the first three years production is already sold out, they may actually have judged the Luce market to perfection and been rather more clever than we give them credit for.

Oh and my non-petrolhead wife really likes the Luce. Kind of proves the point 😂
