Punched car in right place for damage to rear light, rear wing and bumper!
£6500 job

Think long and hard before using your insurance to repair something so small!

I had a rental car “ding” my back quarter panel on my BMW and had insurance pay for the repair. It was not that expensive for the repair, the problem I ran into was when I sold the car people ran a CarFax and it showed up as an accident which drops the value of your car. Plus I had people who was skeptical when I told them the car was not in an accident.

It’s just not worth using insurance unless you really need it!

Maybe we have different definitions of small? The quote itself is £6500 and those are notorious for being underestimates. I’m not sure I’d want to pay all that out of pocket. Looked like at least 2 panels would need to be replaced and painted. That can’t be cheap in my limited experience.
