Is this a K-40 Install?

I recently purchased a CPO and noticed these LEDs - is this a K-40 Radar detector install? The dealer didn't indicate a removal of anything so I am wondering if it's still installed. I understand the switches for it may be hidden? Where's a good place to look?

I had a K40 installed in my 911 Turbo. It used 2 LEDs like your photo.There are no hidden switches, the only way to control the K40 system is by a small wireless controller.

My controller was either lost or stolen. I called K40 to buy a replacement but without knowing the exact model number of the K40, they were unable to identify the proper control to sell to me.

At that point I gave up and went without the radar protection until I regrettably sold the Turbo when I purchased the Taycan.

You may need to take the car to a radio shop or other place that installs radar detectors to discover the model number before calling K40 for a replacement.

Looks the same as the K40 I had in my Elise.

There should be something visible on the lower front of the car.

The radar sensors in my Turbo were in the front and back license plate frames.

I had the same issue of no remote and the company said I neended the model number. But I call tech at the company and they said they only had two remotes and the most recent would work. It did. My advise is to call the tec/service guys again.
