I tried it 3 times since I owned the vehicle. Twice it worked, one it didn’t. It might have been due to battery temp, I’m not sure why it didn’t work.

The two times it did work, as I came to a stop, I floored the brake rapidly and then as soon as it was down I floored the accelerator just as fast and it activated.

Try holding the brakes for 2 sec before flooring the accelerator, mine works every time, every day?

I’m 36 and still wear it backwards from time to time ?

I'm 71 and wear mine backward occasionally when I play tennis or pickleball. Although when it is cold I do tend to favor a beanie
