cadillac is shuttering dealers that don’t want to participate in the EV future - I think the writing is on the wall - less service revenue and more online purchasing means the old stealer model is suffering some disruption…

"The transition to EVs is estimated to cost each Cadillac dealership $200,000 to $500,000, and GM has spent $274 million buying out dealers who aren’t ready to make the switch." ... that's a LOT of money to buy out those dealerships that won't conform... By extrapolation of their cutting 40% of Caddy dealerships, that means a cut of some 370 dealerships, so I guess it's about $750k per dealership buy-out...
