I too was very tempted on this until I saw this very underwhelming video!!

Underwhelming??! Omg I think just the opposite. This color has to be seen to be appreciated. It is dark in muted light, and then comes alive in direct sunlight. I think it suits the size of the car so well........
Maybe it's the dreary British light that has you unconvinced..... lol ?

I was going with Ultra-violet - some great pics on the web of GT3s in UK - That was until I ordered a sample of Ultra Violet wrap (allegedly colour matched to Porsche UV) - It was purple in some lights but just looked like dark blue in most conditions.... so I am going another way...

I have to wait minimum two more year to order my GTS Sport Turismo in amethyst. So lot's of time to play with the configurator ?

Because "any colour you like" is double the price ? And amethyst is just beautiful.

That option is called paint-to-sample plus or PTS+ and costs £13000+. The additional colours of PTS are colours that have previously been submitted via PTS+ and are being made generally available or popular/historical colours that previously have gone through PTS.

In the UK configurator - the custom colour (PTS) options phraseology has changed recently and the 'choose any colour PTS' £12K option is no longer available. only from the pre-approved list.
