I recently got a Porsche Approved Taycan 4S, and they did an 111-point inspection on the car. I asked for a copy of the report, and they said "we'll send it to you by end of the day". They never did. But they told me that the report came fine and nothing was wrong with the car in any way/shape/form.

I received the car, and an hour later realized that the backseat belt will ring the belt-alarm when unbuckled (no one was sitting in the back, there is no bag, or any weight on the back seat to trigger the alarm). They delivered the car to me with only one seatbelt buckled in the back, and it was in fact the one that has a faulty alarm system. I also found a loose ambient light (one of the ambient lighting in the passenger seat side came loose, and the wire was just hanging there).

I went back to the Porsche Center annoyed, and basically told them I don't trust they did the inspection the way it should, because the inspection should have caught the seat-belt system fault. I requested a copy of the 111-point report, and they refused and said "it's an internal document that we do not share with the customer". I am taking it to their management now, but I wanted to check if the report IS in fact an "internal" document as the salesman told me, or are they just being shady at this point.

Not sure that helps you, but I got that report together with sale documentation when buying my used Taycan here in Germany. And I would suspect it should be mandatory.

That does help, because they are telling me they are "not allowed" to send me the report :CWL:

I have received the inspection report for all used Porsche’s I have bought here in GB.
Escalate within the dealer and if that fails to your country’s importer.
The 111 point report also underpins the Porsche Approved Warranty, which is administered by the importer.

I have many copies of the CPO inspection report. You typically have to request it, but it has always been provided when I did.

I got my car - Porsche Approved last week from Porsche Reutlingen.

I got everything in a nice file - results from the 111 test, all service recalls done, they replaced my front brakes (PSCB) entirely, because of the test. I got photos from when the car entered the test with all the issues, rims repainted, etc. Tim was amazing and super helpful along the way.

I think there’s a massive difference between different dealerships and especially these that are franchising, more remote, etc. try to cut corners.

This said if you are paying for the test, they have to give you the results. If it’s on them, they don’t need to give you anything. They can’t activate the Approved warranty without it. So, if they skipped something it’s probably a franchise trying to put another charge on Porsche for a warranty work that should have been done as part of the Approved program.
