Wanted to share my experience with a recent recall and what I was told on a couple of long standing issues - hopefully this is helpful to others. I received my car at the end of December and took it immediately for paint correction, PPF and ceramic. When I got the car back, it was showing a power button error. I took it back to the dealer and they booked it in for a repair - the appointment was made at the end of March as they only have one Taycan certified tech in Rocklin who is also the foreman. Not a great start.

The day finally came to get the repair and I also asked them to perform the recall update which many received on email. It took one full day including overnight to complete the work. The car was returned fully charged which surprise me a bit (thought they may charge to 80-90%) but it doesn't appear like they washed it or vacuumed much inside even though the service report says they did:

1. Power button start error appearing on startup - this has been fixed by the WNA5 update
2. Interior alarm error - there was an annoying guy called Dave who interrupted me as I was talking to the service advisor who was booking my car in. I mentioned that I had read online that people are seeing a fix for this issue and he said that Porsche haven't issued a fix yet and was kind of obnoxious about it. Anyway, when I got the car back, they confirmed that there is now a fix and I will be recalled based on VIN (STFU Dave).. My SA said he would try and get me squeezed in earlier
3. Issues with Smart Lift disappearing occasionally and account login (happened twice) were attributed to poor connection. They couldn't replicate the issue of course. Not really a big issue for me, only happened a couple of times each
4. Complained about centre console lid and they verified that it operates as designed (poorly). Surely someone will come up with an aftermarket fix for this? I would have thought it would be fairly simple to create a spring loaded hinge
5. Tire pressure - they set the pressure a bit higher than stated in the manual. Which is also different to the sticker on the car door

I initially requested a car and they said I would get one but decided against it as I had to travel to the airport for work. I asked if they had a car for me when checking in and they did not have one available which was unsurprising but they did pay for an Uber to the airport.

Overall the experience was a 7.5/10
