I'm too chicken to pay for it without stated numbers. I'd be down to let Redshift test it on my car, collect the metrics, and revert it to stock for free. I think the community needs to know the hard numbers before deciding on a $3.5k mod that may or may not void the warranty.

I said this in a different thread re: the tune:
That's your prerogative, but I'd suggest not to hold your breath waiting for this to happen.

It's quite simple, really: Porsche built 2 rear motors and 2 front ones, and sell various combinations of these (not all combinations) as different models. The mod simply makes available all the (combined) available power for your model; in your case, it's that of the lower of the 2 rear motors. If you're buying drag times, then I understand the reticence/wanting numbers etc.; if you're simply paying for unlocking inaccessible capacity, then it doesn't really matter if those performance numbers exist.

And HP numbers are a good metric for making that decision, since I have a frame of reference for the 'OEM' experience. If I can see that it's XX% higher compared to OEM, then I'm happy to make the jump (or if it doesn't meet my expectations then I would not proceed). However, currently if you pay for the tune you have no idea what you're getting on a RWD PB+.

I've seen it stated that in unlocks the LC limiter of 471hp. I don't think that's worth paying $3.5k for.

I've also seen people claim it unlocks an additional 15% on top of the 471hp, meaning it would set the motor output at 541hp. That, in my mind, is worth paying for.

However, without hard data it's difficult to commit on an ambiguous claim. I suspect many RWD PB+ owners are in a similar boat.

I'm simply offering my vehicle as a data collection opportunity for Redshift to remove this ambiguity since I live within driving distance. I have nothing to gain from this besides lending the car to Redshift and giving them the opportunity to collect these numbers for the community.

Mmm I thought they accepted your proposal when they suggested to email them.

The email they sent me sounded like they were offering to sell the upgrade, not to test the vehicle in order to collect numbers and then revert it back to stock.

I just sent a follow up email detailing the offer, hopefully this removes any misunderstandings.

I don't know how much clearer this statement can be. Name one product that claims to upgrade something without giving the before and after..... It's not about drag racing or numbers, it's about knowing exactly what you're gaining out of a upgrade with your hard earned money. Eventually details will come out but without backed up claims many interested consumers will stay on the sidelines.

I have the upgrade on my 2021 CT 4, it absolutely transformed the car. If a Turbo is faster, I wouldn't want one. The car is so quick now, I don't want or need to go any faster. The difference was noticeable immediately. I've had it for several months and probably 2000 miles without any issues.

Also I did a 550 mile trip (each way) and under normal highway driving conditions, the tune did not seem to effect range either way.

I had the pleasure of meeting @Mr.Smith last weekend and driving his car. Damn, this mod completely transformed his car! Plus he lowered his car 10mm and is running Michelin Pilot 4s' I am ordering them for my car ASAP.
His Etron RS feels smaller and much better composed in turns post modifications than my stock Turbo S. Slightly more body lean but damn this feels nothing like the Etrons folks have been talking about and reviewing.
The tune makes his car feel just like mine (just got it too), so I can see why we trap the same. But he can get off the line without any noise from the tires, whereas mine with all seasons will howl through the first 30 or so MPH. I need new tires!
