I love that for so many people the Taycan is giving them the experience they want.

I never really drove an automatic before my eTron, and am used to not having 'creep'. I do use the HOLD function. Just wish I had an option similiar to my standard or some other electrics. At the end of the day this is a nit though.

I'm not asking for one peddle driving!

Neutral would be the same as your manual cars. Not really convenient though.

If Porsche is listening….. what people really want is customization.

In my old Mustang Mach E you could easily choose 1 pedal or 2 pedal drive, various levels of regeneration, auto hold on or off, creep on or off etc. The only customization complaint was you couldn’t change suspension setting independently.

Either way, more options are better.

Well, I could have a better or different horse - but I wouldn't expect the horse to stop on its own if I didn't rein it in. If it was still a *horse* I would expect it to behave like a horse.

Not saying that development/ innovation shouldn't happen - but changing something for the salke of change is not always good.

Prime example: Touch screen in cars. All manufacturers followed the Eastern markets and started to make everything a screen/ touch control. .
However, most German manufacturers have now learnt the lesson and decided to slowly claw back to manual controls.
Ain't broke - don't fix it.

I think the screen thing is Tesla's fault.

But why not have the option to have the horse stop on it's own if you want in certain very specific conditions, or not, if possible? That makes it a better horse (not sure when you'd want a horse to creep without you telling it anyway).
