Thinking of pulling trigger--2022 Taycan base w/21K miles

...negotiated down to $57,400. CPO from local Porsche dealership. MSRP was $104K. Paint is near flawless. Has PPF from one and only owner. I placed a deposit while it is going through service for new tires and detailing. I thought it was a great price at the time of placing the deposit, but after research the price seems "average" at best. Thoughts anyone?

Just pulled the spec sheet, here’s a copy for your reference. My opinion for what it’s worth is that at $57k you really have to value the CPO part if this deal a lot to move forward.

I personally couldn’t fathom buying a Taycan without ACC/PASM/Perf Plus battery and I think you’ll want a different Taycan in a very short amount of time.

To address your specific concern about price, it’s high and that’s because the dealer (and you could fairly do the same) puts a premium on the CPO aspect.

For reference I bought a 22 Taycan Cross Turismo a couple months ago, 35k miles, loaded with every feature I could want minus RWS and it cost me close to 60k after PPI and negotiations. Now what I spent after closing on full Matte PPF, ceramic, xpel ceramic tint, and xpel glass? Don’t tell me wife… but I dont recommend valuing those cosmetic items into the cars value.

But just to be super clear, buy a Taycan 🤣 it’s worth it. You’ll be in love even with this one, you just might very quickly want to upgrade if you ever drive a friends with a couple key additional options.

Its a nice looking car and the fact that you got them to come down a little on the CPO is good. As long as you can charge at home the smaller battery should not be an issue. Price is fair, you are getting new tires, If its the color you want and good options I would pull the trigger. The fact its CPO from a dealer is a big plus as opposed from a random used car lot. I got my CPO 2022 about 8 months ago and loving it.

For me, I avoided all cars from Florida as I fear undeclared flood damage. The car has a more unique paint and interior package w Mission Es. That's good. I think black interior looks better. The folding mirrors are a must have. It does not have ACC which for me would be a deal breaker. CPO warranty is worth about 2k.

A taycan without the bigger battery is not for everybody, it's a very expensive option, so that should show in the price.

No air suspension, it makes the car sit just a little too high for my taste, but ride quality is also fine on standard suspension.

Overall good looking car with those wheels, it has BOSE, upgraded seats and 360° camera is handy because the taycan is a long and wide car.
Chalk looks great on a taycan and is now a PTS color.

I don't think the shorter range battery is a big deal. The premium for CPO is worth it. I'm not a fan of the lighter gray interior. The chalk and wheels make this car. I'm on the fence. Question: Is there a different build you prefer (options & color) or is this it? If this is not the car you want in every aspect, don't get it. But by all means, buy a Taycan. We got one and not my 991.2 sits in the garage.

I've been monitoring CPO for few years. For the specs, condition, and mileage of this Taycan, $57k is a pretty good price. I personally will look for performance plus battery, but it's personal choice.

Just make sure it has had all the recalls and inspection, plus updates. I've been noticing quite a slowdown of all of us wanting to off the deep end, which means maybe they have things sorted. My 21st Porsche, I do really like it.
