Model Years: 2020-2022
Number of Affected VINs: 3,774

Issue Description: Due to a manufacturing error at the supplier, pressure sensors for the refrigerant circuit were installed on the affected vehicles that do not meet the required specifications.

The failure of one or more pressure sensors in the refrigerant circuit can therefore not be ruled out over the
lifetime of the vehicle. As a result, there is a possibility that the air conditioning and battery cooling system
will not function as normal. This can lead to an increased temperature of the high-voltage battery and, as
a result, to reduced charging performance during fast charging, and possibly reduced driving performance.

What Dealers should do: To prevent this from happening, the pressure sensors must be checked and replaced if necessary.

I had this recall done this month when my car was in for the marathon 22 KW charger upgrade. The car also got a PCM update.
