Just grabbed a ‘25 Taycan today on a pretty good lease deal. They ended up taking $20k off and then got a $7500 lease rebate. So after those discounts it went from a $127k MSRP to sub $100k. It was a dealer tester with 1100 miles and they CPO’d it.

Really had nearly every option I wanted minus the lit up rear Porsche logo. I did find a small scratch on the hood and they are gonna fix it up.

Always wanted a Porsche and especially a Taycan. I’ve been an EV fan and I’ve owned a Lucid Air Grand Touring, Audi e-tron GT (I hate Audi MMI), Genesis GV60, Mustang Mach-E. I once had a Lotus Evora and Jaguar F-Type R in my prior life.

Big things I’ve noticed is the Range. I’m currently at 79% battery with 286 miles right now left which is great for a Taycan.

Ended up being $1255 before tax. 5k down.

MSRP $126875 new

They took $20,895 off. I also got the $7500 lease tax credit.

I also had them bundle in the Porsche Lease End Return warranty and discounte that.

Interesting. When I bought my '23 GTS the price was MSRP, and the lease was almost 10%. Still, I wish I'd leased. I will never see 289 miles with a full charge.

You've had some really interesting EVs. I hope you will report back on how the Taycan compares to the others.

Congratulations! What model did you get? And, did you get the larger battery option? I’m pleasantly surprised to hear about that range improvement. That might prompt me to upgrade!

Ended up getting a base RWD. And yep this had a performance battery plus in it.

I suspect stock levels will lead to some good discounts over the next few months.

Congrats on the new ride! I'm curious, how does the Taycan compare to your previous EVs, especially the Lucid Air GT? I've heard mixed things about Lucid's reliability.

Lucid was nice. Super quiet and super fast.
It was a bit plain though and felt like no one noticed the car. That drove me a bit insane especially since it’s not exactly a super common car.

I did like the constant software updates and the space. Reliability was okay. No big issues. Frunk got stuck a few times and had to call them to remote open and send it for service. Steering column got super loud and they replaced it. There was some parts stuck on the trunk hinges that caused scratches that they fixed and replaced.

I think the other big issue is so many have Pures now due to lease deals and I had a GT. Service was fast but my last frunk issue took 5 weeks for an appointment. They are overwhelmed.
