I am not sure, but couple of things to note:Anybody else ( @whitex ) have any ideas as to why 45 minutes worked and shorter disconnections didn't?
- Conbox High (ECU which contains the LTE modem in J1 cars) is one of the few ECU's which has their own rechargeable battery (see this post). While this battery will not run out in 45 minutes, perhaps it takes that long for the LTE firmware to time out waiting on other ECU's which are down when the 12V is disconnected?
- Whenever I did any major recoding in my car, I noticed 40 minutes or more was required for the car to "reset itself" (and therefore my changes taking effect, or in some cases for car to even be drivable, as recoding some ECU's can make the car undrivable until complete reset). I learned that when at first I was impatient and went back to the car after only 30 minutes. This was all with 12V physically connected though.
