Rattling noise caused by Mid Base Woofer on Driver Door

My car has the Burmester "upgrade" and the door (or speaker) makes this annoying rattling noise. The issue continues to exist despite the dealership replacing the speaker.

The dealership is ordering A "new door" from Germany in hopes of rectifying the issue.

I am thinking if the door should jus be "sound deaden" ... has any one had this issue before?

I currently have that issue with my passenger door.

I have yet to visit the dealership.

the door does have sound isolation material in it; but that does not stop clips from braking and things starting to move around

Is this all covered under warranty for you, or how much are you paying?

Quality Porsche car.

My Tesla stereo didn't rattle in 6 years of usage of this "poorly engineered" US car.

My first Porsche, pretty unimpressed by the rattles tbh!!

Well, my passenger Burmester door also has vibrations playing loud.
Solution: go REALLY loud, it's gone than ?

When I press the carbon inlay on that door, the vibration dissapears.

Yes the are building me a new door under warranty, but I highly doubt the issue will go away without sound deadening

On brumater sound system, the doors do have some sound deadening material in them. Not sure about Bose ones tho

Mine is the carbon trim rattling. Turn the rattle off by leaning over and pressing on it.

Yes! After you mentioned that I just leaned over and pressed on it - zero noise!!

Just needs some double sided trim tape behind it. I have zero belief the OPC will do anything about it so I'll probably do it myself tbh.

Super easy, to remove the door panel, if necessary.



Don't know if the carbon inlays just "pop out" with a lever?
