Porsche Connect not Working - How long to fix?

As title, my Taycan has been without connectivty for nearly a week, and I got Porsche SMARTMOBILITY to raise a ticket. How long does it take to resolve? Or has that happened to you all? It is strange as it shows strong vodafone reception but I cannot use my phone to connect to the car.

I am also having the same issue since 2-3 weeks. App won’t see the car until I start the car.

My app won't update my car's data regardless if I start it or not. It simply doesn't update even if it says it did.

I had this a few weeks ago on my J1.2 4SST. I had a good 4G signal but no data was being transferred so App didn't update and no traffic info in sat nav, no satellite maps etc. Porsche Connect took about a week to try to restart the connection their end but eventually said Germany had tried with no success. We had also tried the 12V battery disconnect without success and a factory reset of the pcm after which I couldn't log back in. They told me to book it in for the Conbox to be reset. I got an appointment within 3 weeks with a loaner but the night before the booking it worked again after being in an underground car park for the weekend.

So might be worth parking where their is zero mobile signal for an hour or two then seeing if the data restarts when you come out.

The tech at the OPC said breaking and restarting the mobile signal almost certainly fixed it. He said restarting the Conbox has limited success so he was expecting to have to replace the Conbox

My car the same. I have lost all connectivity since feb 28. It came back on its own for 4 hours on march 28. Then it went into the dealer on april 15 for wrv3 update and started working again. That lasted about 2 hours.
Last week I phoned Porsche connectivity services myself, they were going to check and contact back, that was 10 days ago.
Next week, I'll be on the phone with the dealer again.

Thats good to know let me try that. Thanks for the good info. I phoned the team again and they said they have to wait for Germany for this issue and they cant do anything about it.

It happened to me. Lasted for about 2-3 weeks and came back on its own.

I put my car in a carpark with no internet and it fixed itself!

Same here since yesterday. My 3rd time since January, I’ll assume it will come back again within a few days, as the central Porsche servers have had some kind of a reboot.

Thank you for the tip about parking car in area without cellular signal. Out of curiosity, when you tried disconnecting the 12 v battery (and it did not work to restore Porsche Connect), how long was the battery disconnected?

Thank you for the tip about parking car in area without cellular signal. Out of curiosity, when you tried disconnecting the 12 v battery (and it did not work to restore Porsche Connect), how long was the battery disconnected?

I contacted Porsche connected services directly to address the issue of non connectivity. They called me once direct from Germany and send me a mail asking to re-send them a ticket through the app with some dash pictures.
Yesterday they sent me an email saying I should go to my Porsche centre and that they should already have a received a todo list. That was 100% true, they told me at the Porsche centre they got a 3 page email detailing 7 steps to carry out.
To be followed end of june when the car goes in...

I updated my situation in a different thread but I picked up my CT this past Wednesday. Almost about 2 weeks back, service center called and said they needed to replace the con box and it needed to be ordered from Germany. After all that, it finally works. Just like before it all broke. 1.5 months of sitting in service, back and forth with PCNA service and local service, just glad to have to back. Having the Macan EV loaner was great but forgot how low and fast my CT was and that the PCM is dated compared to the Macan’s Android Auto OS.

Is this common? My MY25 stopped connecting to internet 1 week after delivery. I am contacting customer service today.
