Just noticed on Tesla’s website for NACS Porsche is now listed under coming soon. Previously it was just VW. This is great news and hopefully next month in June we get access. I’m curious to see how they implement the update, the Chargepoint addition to Porsche charging planner was just app side so hopefully supercharging is as well.

It's been there for several months (I began noticing it when checking for my Kia EV6). Sadly the order of that list seems to be the order of implementation (EV6 ....)..so I am guessing it ain't gonna be June (as promised) and may go late in the year..sorry

yeah thanks but I'd still rather not contribute anything to Elon , regardless of how little it may be
Amen bother, amen..so far I have only used Tesla for testing and plan to ONLY use it in an "emergency" going forward

prob not relavent to us in the UK anyway. it specifically says America. and i don't think there are many Tesla chargers here anyway. are they even any better than any of the 300kw chargers we have around anyway? and even if so, could our cars even use it

The available Tesla Superchargers in the US max at 96KW for non-Tesla vehicles using CCS attaching to Tesla via an adapter....my EV6 (800 volts) and Taycan (800 volts) can reach 250 or so at CCS chargers available from Electrify America et al. So speed is not Tesla's advantage in the US - its advantage is ubiquity.

My Rivian gets 200+ Kw rate at Tesla stations.

I've gotten more than 96kW at a magic dock. Is there a lower limit for adapters and non-magic dock?

I'm not an expert - but consistent reporting indicates that that limit exists until Tesla upgrades their equipment. And, btw, my own testing (on my EV6 using an adapter) is consistently well below 96kw.

This from the EV6 forum today: Just got my NACS to CCS adapter from Lectron this week and tested it today. Tesla SC location in Gilroy CA. Was able to initiate quickly on the Tesla app. Got 96 KwH consistently

I'm glad that I have a CCS car. I don't plan to ever go to Tesla except for emergencies, so an adapter is just fine for me (or Magic Docks). I find that there are many more CCS stations now on my long road trips than there are NACS stations, and new CCS stations are being added quicker and in greater numbers than new NACS stations are. It seems that few model-year-2025 NACS-ported non-Tesla BEVs are being built still in 2025 (i.e., more CCS models are still selling in model year 2025 in American than are NACS models), and there are way too many CCS-ported cars out there now to do away with any CCS stations. Just look at how many Chademo stations are still out there and being supported.

Rivian is one of the worst charging EVs while the Taycan is one of the best..
Different than my experience. My Taycan routinely charges at ~150 Kw. My Rivian routinely charges at ~220 Kw

Do you precondition the Taycan battery? i constantly get 250-270 when i'm 30% SoC and below
On Rivian the time it spends at 200 is 1-3 mins the most even with 5% soc
