Team,

for purposes of finding Tesla Superchargers the best app I've found is as follows:

https://apps.apple.com/app/id1056496235 (not sure if there is an Android version)

it's the app version of this website:

https://supercharge.info/map

this is _NOT_ an official Tesla app - but it lists Superchargers that are:
  • open
  • closed
  • perm closed
  • planned
  • permitted
  • under construction
  • temp closed
the data is crowd sourced but mostly accurate

the app is a joy to use and is smooth and fast with excellent pinch-zoom behavior - and in my mind the quickest and best way to find a supercharger for any area/region you plan to visit!

Enjoy!

Thanks for this, I have used the web version quite a bit (we have a Rivian as well as the Taycan) but didn't know there was an app version, good stuff.

The detail is nice for planning long trips on the desktop/laptop. What does the app version offer though beyond what you get by scrolling in the Tesla app to where you want to go, with your car set to “Taycan with NACS Adapter” and clicking the three lightning bolts for SC? The Tesla app already filters the chargers you can use. Just asking.

I've not used SC very much..what is the advantage of this app vs. the Tesla app?

the map is faster and easier to interact with my opinion - just for purposes of "discovery" - If I for example was going to Flag Staff - I can quickly launch this app and quickly get an idea of what superchargers are "in the area" of Flagstaff…

and then use Porsche/Better route planner to flush out the details…there is no cost it's a free app - it's the easiest app to casually consult to see where you'll find supercharger…easy and quick.

I’ve used this app for years and some of the data I’ve seen was the same as in the Tesla owners forum.

What I like about is that it shows you what has been permitted and is under construction. Details on what kind and how many chargers as well as public provided photos. Handy as Dave said for checking things out in advance for your destination pretty fast. Filter out chargers that are available for other EVs or V4 was an improvement.

I’m a big fan of A Better Route Planner - including the iOS, iPadOS apps and website. That way, you get Tesla Superchargers, plus any other networks, when you plan your trip. Load in your make/model, and it adjusts for what locations you can use. Tesla, for example, it will only show locations where "Open to non-Tesla vehicles" is possible.

Thanks for the share @daveo4EV. Is there any definitive or informed-speculative information about when Tesla Supercharger locations will become charge-planner navigable in the PCM?

Charge Planning Software
All model year 2026 Taycan and Macan Electric variants will come with the necessary navigation features to incorporate the location of additional chargers. Model year 2024 and 2025 Macan Electric models will receive this software update before the end of the year, while model year 2025 and earlier Taycan variants will receive their upgrade thereafter. All charge-planning software updates will be complimentary.

An even better alternative I have been using for a while is the app ”ChargeFinder”. There is also a web version, but with some fewer functions. Https://chargefinder.com

The thing with Chargefinder is that you can see LIVE/Realtime status for availability and also Live pricing.

In Chargefinder you can filter on Tesla Superchargers in both US and Europe.

Highly recommend this app/web site way beyound the other Supercharge map recommended in this thread. In that app you can see neither prices or realtime info. Chargefinder seems to be 100% accurate and the realtime info updates within a second after connecting to a charger. I’ve used the app a lot for other networks also.
