CARMINE RED Taycan Club

So after nearly a 1 year wait my Carmine red 4S Pb arrived yesterday.

First thing CARMINE RED omg I love it what a colour so glad I took the plunge

Rough spec is: Pan roof , perf battery, HUD, Active cruise, sports chrono , 8 way memory seats , heated gt steering wheel, 21” aero alloys., red seatbelts and clock ,gloss black trim , debadged but I put gloss badge on after ceramics are done ,didn’t spec Bose had it in my 911 and hated it but so far std audio is fine for what I need

I have to say I was a bit nervous about setting it up but everything worked just perfectly PCM and AP synced CarPlay working with zap map Spotify etc

Big shout out to this forum learning all the basic how to stuff here really helped thank you

Arrived fully charged with 196 miles range but I guess that will settle down as I use it depending how I drive

The car is simply amazing and really worth the wait I really thought it would not surpass my 911 GTS but wow its up there different but def there

Need to get it detailed and ceramic coated soon but here’s a few pics

Just wondering, do you have to buy the rear badge separately, or will the dealer supply it?

Do you have any photos of the interior? Is there anything you would change? I’ve specced my GTS interior almost identically

No coloured icons I see. Did your build happen too early for that?

I purchased the badge separately but may be worth a try. I always got the badges removed when I got ceramic coatings done

I went with the dark interior with the red belts and sports chrono clock and logo on the headrests I’m very happy with it as I have the pano roof so doesn’t feel to dark

Looks great. The splash of colour really lifts the dark interior nicely, which was what I was hoping

I haven’t seen them in real life but from pictures online the coloured icons look like this:

Taycans built after (I think) the third week in January were meant to come with the coloured icons in the PCM but I noticed yours were grey

Hey everyone! I am about to lock my Carmine Red GTS and need your opinion on Glacier Blue Headlights. I see that couple of people here have them with Carmine Red exterior and I was wondering how you liked them? This is a no-cost option for me and I am trying to see if it's better to stick with black headlights over glacier headlights. If anyone has any pictures of them at night and day, I would appreciate it!

Also, what do you guys think about guards red brake calipers over the carmine red exterior? Is it a huge difference?

I have a red GTS on order and plan on keeping it black matrix for two reasons.

1. black is the GTS colour along with carmine red/chalk

2. I already have the blue lights on our volcano grey and they look amazing on it but I’m not sure they will with carmine red

but ultimately it’s what YOU would like on your car that’s important

Blue on red is a nasty colour combo.

The smoked matrix headlights are GTS exclusive, so even less a reason to change them.

Guards red is orange hue, carmine is red.

Doubt it will be so noticeable that it looks odd and there's only three other colour options that will look more boring or clash: black, white or yellow.

Some of those caliper options are excessively priced and you wouldn't spec them for the colour...
