Love my Taycan for a daily driver but I just sold one of my extra (toy) cars and looking to get another.

I sold a 750+ hp supercharged 6 speed Mustang GT. Was just too dang loud and raw to enjoy driving too much. Also have a 69 Mach 1 Mustang as my classic.

Don’t want to spend too much on an extra car, so $60k or less I think for a budget. Was thinking of getting a convertible. Right now the Jaguar F type R has my eye. Thoughts?

Love the F Type R. It's also loud though.

How about a Aston Martin V8 Vantage S (2011-17)

I second the Aston thing.
If you want old: DBS is awesome, not as loud, more refined, V12, probably won’t depreciate as much, maintenance is a pain though. But that design… Amazing.
Almost all db9’s look good too. Didn’t drive that one yet though.

Scratching that: how about McLaren?

McLaren and 911 wouldn’t really fit that budget.

Loud is relative. The Mustang was ridiculously loud (long tube headers and no cats).

Did think about the Aston Martin for sure they’re very good looking. But would have to get a much older one in that price range vs the Jag. Definitely paying more for the name/style. But yeah they’re super sexy.

The Taycan will be my new primary and daily driver, but I’m gonna hold onto my ice SUV and motorcycles. I think the next car I get to join the fleet it’s gonna be a 1958 Corvette just something that fits a completely different niche. My goal is to have all vehicles with completely different purposes. I can’t see the need for redundancy if two ever fit the same need then I’m gonna sell one. Otherwise I just got to a point where I don’t like the sell stuff and not get my return on it just to buy another thing 😏

Well…. That didn’t take long. Test drove the F type and loved it. Picking it up tonight.

The exhaust is interesting. Apparently they nerfed it 2019+, quiet under 3500 rpm and then awesome. We shall see in the coming months which car gets more drive time. 🤷‍♂️
