Is it possible to change the lower screen to show kW instead of km/min? My always shows km/min which is a confusing metric when I want to know how fast it is charging.

Tested today to charge only to 80% with preheating and the battery temp was 17C (outside temp -12C ?) at departure. I have noticed the same as Doc B mentioned, that the Taycan uses energy first to warm up the battery before charging.

Tested my ”sauna edition” CT4 and set a timer to charge from 91% SOC to 100% (outside temp -12C, cold garage carpark with a public charger). At departure the battery temp was again +30C, it seems to precondition the battery in this setting. No idea what sets it off, would be interesting to see...

For me it does warm the battery consistently when using timer function, this is one morning right after leaving to work, charging with 11kW AC to 100%. This is a CT4 with optional heat pump. Randomly charging it does not have the same effect I think, you have to use the timer.

This is using the internal 11kW AC charger at full effect, it will charge it up to 100% when using the timer function with preheating on.

If you set a timer to charge the battery and preheat the car, the battery will be warm at departure. My battery is approx. +30C at departure when charging to 100% and preheating the car (21C), at below zero temps outside.

Options will make it easier to sell in the future, but you should count a 0€ residual value on options. Pick neutral colors (exterior/interior) to make it sell easier.

My solution: not installing the app at all. Seems to work so far, no problems with the alarm. Obviously I can’t be sure if my car is affected by this problem, since I dont want to try the app until there is a permanent fix. Easier to live without the app than a faulty alarm.

I have not yet encountered this problem on my 2021 CT4, but I did intentionally leave the app out of my phone from day 1. No idea if it would generate this error or not, seems like it from some posts made earlier.

I think the HUD is ok. I usually have night vision on my main instrument cluster so it is cool to have the power meter shown on HUD

Anyone have this problem but have not installed the app yet (I mean not even installed once)? I have had this car (MY21 CT4) for over a month now and no problem yet, but I have not installed the app to avoid this problem. Not sure if it matters though, the problem seems quite random.

In cold weather I would set a timer to charge the battery to 100% and precondition at departure, this way the battery and cabin is warm and efficient. The battery temp was +30C when outside temp -3.5C when leaving to work one morning with timer set to 100% at departure

I have not yet had this issue on my MY21 CT4. I have not installed the app at all, but have logged in to my profile in the PCM. I’m also reluctant to try the app until there is a complete fix.

I felt some clunking/noise on full turn and had the right front bolts come loose, tightened and it went away.

You can modify what it shows on the HUD, not sure about phone and music, have to check that next time I’m in the car.

I set the height to the lowest setting in PCM (normal mode), now it starts in lowest height every time in normal mode. I thought it would reset itself, but I dont mind.. looks good this way.
