For those that have had PPF, did they end up carving out (or cutting around) the sensors and the tow-hook cover? I had mine PPF'd and they are not carved out and therefore you see "white" or hazy clear in the gap between the sensor and the bumper.
There are a fair number of posts about various rattles, though I did not see any related to the steering column. I have had the car for about a month and started to notice an intermittent rattle emanating from the steering column. I discovered the location when I moved the steering wheel...
I have the option with no regrets. I find it very useful - nav, speed, posted speed. Brightness settings can mitigate polarized sunglasses issue to a degree. Aesthetics of dash looks just fine.
They are very useful. You have to be in Park to enable. When in Park you'll notice there is a "handle" just above the input pad. Swipe down from there.
Interesting, my build was just before yours on 4/12. I also have the 19.2kW and just took delivery of the car on 6/26. Two days later no ability to A/C charge. Requires a new onboard charger which will take a week. Wondering if it will be an updated 19.2kW with valid certificate (?).
Confirmed that the A/C charging issue is with the Taycan. Tesla Tap was great in verifying that the Tap is just fine and sending it back. Awaiting on resolution from the dealer, though they said they have exhausted "their know-how" and are now reaching out to Porsche Technical for further...
Found the other thread which discusses the issue with 10.0.x.x: https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/mobile-charger-connect-does-not-like-class-a-networks.4494/
I may have jumped the troubleshooting gun thinking it was the Tesla Tap. Turns out I cannot charge A/C at all. PMCC at 6 amps trips the GFCIs on 15 amp circuit and even on a 20 amp circuit the breaker trips. Then, this morning tried to charge at two separate 6.6kW ChargePoint chargers - no...
Hmmm, I do use a 10.0.X.X gateway. That would be a major pain in the ass. I do wonder then why it would work cleanly via iPhone cell hotspot. I might try to set up different VLAN to see if that does the trick. Thanks for the tip though.
Was having issues with internet connection to PMCC on home wifi. Tried phone hotspot and connected to Internet indicating Online - no problems. Was then able to enter user profile. When connected to home wifi it shows 'connected' but not Online. DNS is to a Pihole which I ended up disabling...
I had the dealer do the install on the clear markers. One question, on the upper trailing edge of each marker they stick out past the fender 1/8" to 3/16". I would have expected flush and have not been able to compare to original installed markers. What are other's experience?
