Interesting, my car is currently with the dealer having new battery fitted - it lost approximately half the battery capacity, I don't have a very good picture, but you can see the effect here, 95% charge and 100 miles range predicted:
On the consumption topic, I'm doing the nursery run...
Just went and checked the loaner Turbo I've got at the moment, numbers are still looking better than yours, and I've only been using it for short trips, no preheating or anything like that..
Most of the consumption figures I've seen from people in the UK, in the winter have been at least 2 miles per kW, eg, 0.5kW per mile. You're getting 0.62kW per mile so over 20% worse.. Seems like really high consumption.
The 150kW charge booster is only useful for older style (I believe 400V) DC chargers that are over 50kW. All new chargers in the UK have to be higher voltage, so the the booster isn't much use in the UK - travelling in the EU with a larger and older network it will be more useful (which is why I...
It seems pretty suspect the same thing seems to have happened to a few different people now.
Thanks for taking the time to investigate it for the greater good, and good luck with the experiment!
Porsche Financial Services aren't the best with regard to interest rates but generally provide the highest residual values which made them the lowest cost option for me (higher interest on a smaller loan).
I'm activated for an undelivered car too, I think it's normal to get the link in advance.
I think the application functions won't work until you've also logged into the car (because you can also set private mode so it doesn't send the telemetry back) but could be wrong.
Useful information, I was planning a trip with a stop at the services (Moto Cherwell Valley) for a quick charge - reading this (and frankly every other review I've seen about Ecotricity), I'll find a decently reviewed pub with a charger for the stop instead!
Mine appears to be stuck at Sheerness - had a collection date (from Reading) of the weekend for about 12 hours before it fell back to being unknown.
Mine also finished on the 30th of October at the factory.
Thanks, really good to know it'll lift the Taycan is will fit the lifting points.
I do exactly the same with the jack stands - can't quite get myself to completely trust the locking bars!
An electrician should be able to take a new circuit right off the meter with minimal disruption - it looks like pretty much the ideal setup for an EV charger install (just adding a socket or a full dedicated unit).
Is your garage attached to the house? Usually you have CU per building.
An electrician would need to run a cable from the nearest consumer unit to the socket / charger as there is a higher current requirement than the regular wiring can handle.
Looks like that CU would work (but I'm not an...
Take a look at it, it's the thing that has all the breakers (that you flick if a bulb blows or you need to isolate a circuit) mounted in it. There will be a big module on one end which controls the incoming supply - see what that's rated to.
I don't have any Taycan yet (Turbo soon!), would be interested to see if Raek has the larger bl7000 or if the bl5000 will lift it OK. I imagine the lift is fairly underrated so it's OK to lift something right on the load limit.
