I agree the variation from one dealer to next is weird to say the least, but I’m also convinced that even within one dealer they treat customers differently. It’s the dealers decision when to forward your order to Germany. Nobody can convince me that if I put in an order today I would be ahead...

I'm in the same boat - sort of. Ordered early September and was given a probable del date of December. Then came the chip shortage, followed by the Ukraine issues. I'm still stuck on the same phase I've been on for ages ... phase 2 of 5 in the My Porsche app. I reckon if they sort the Ukraine...

Teutonic logic doesn’t explain why we Europeans don’t get the free charging the Yanks get for x-period of time with a new Taycan. More likely they drive a harder bargain and we Europeans just sit back and take what’s thrown at or ‘given’ to us? I asked my dealer to explain that and he shrugged...

If I get a call from my dealer I might end up in hospital from the shock!! In my case my dealer’s attitude all along has been one of ‘we’re doing you a big favour selling you one of our fabulous cars. Be thankful, you don’t know how lucky you are!’
