I agree 100% with everything you say Johannes - with the major concern being reliability. Maybe I was hit with a lemon. But the problems, technical/mechanical on a "mature production" 2023 Taycan were like nothing I've ever experienced in car ownership.
#1 issue for me is reliability, and I...
I could write a short book on this topic...but I will refrain.
Bought my new Taycan RWD December 2023. The car was at three different dealers for 16 visits to fix various problems, and out of service for 140 days over 22 months. Was stranded with battery problems twice requiring towing...
Anecdotal, I know, but my 2023 Taycan with 12k miles recently gave into the “red circle of death “
Multiple battery module failures. At the dealership for four weeks with no indication when it will be repaired.
Never fast charged- only level 2 charging at home or on a few rare occasions EA...
The white one is a beauty.
I would be concerned about the lemon law buy back. Does not make sense Porsche would buy this car back only for heater malfunction. Lots of Taycans were hit with this fairly easy replacement.
I would suspect there were many more issues. with the car.

Your solution sounds odd.
Curious why I get zero advice from Porsche NA or local dealer other than “tow the car in”
if you are correct, deeply troubling no guidance whatsoever from Porsche about battery maintenance- maybe a liability issue?
Any experience with this fault code?
I've had this problem numerous times. The car won't move—no idea how to reset.
Eventually, after some time, it will start again (reset/re-boot)
Brought to the dealer and diagnostics provide no answers about the problem, or that there is a problem.
I'm...
Thanks
Still don’t get it
Why issue a title on a new car
it wasn’t a loaner or an executive car
I saw it come off the trailer
a week later I owned it, but as a titled CPO….?
I spoke to another dealer and he didn’t get it either
I purchased my 23 Taycan new. My dealer classified the car as a CPO (2nd owner) with 44 miles on it, and gave me the additional two-year warranty (6 years) as a "discount" on the purchase.
I don't entirely understand it. The downside is the VIN info classifies me as the 2nd owner., which I...
Makes sense, although I try NOT to look around so that I will not be tempted as I am very weak. Me going to a Porsche dealer is like an alcoholic going to a Napa tasting room . .
Now that's funny, and I agree. I love walking around the dealership looking at all the Porsche-"Porn"
I've let dealers (Silver Spring and Tysons) pick up and return my Taycan with no issues/concerns. Anything can happen to anyone, anywhere. Life is too short to be worrying about this.
BTW - Appera you live in Hillandale (or took the photo there). I lived there for 5 years - Ivy Terrace
Like everyone has said, color is very personal.
I've seen both in person side by side.
Ice grey is close to white, but with a tad more personality and uniqueness. I have a carrera white, and would love to have had an ice grey car. It's not as boring as WHITE. I think it's stunning, and one of...
I can't help myself about Timer/Profile thread.
I paid US$120k for the car. The SA shows me how cool the timer/profile should work.
It has NEVER worked on the car despite many hours at dealers, Porsche NA techs, and German tech engineers supposedly working on it. Truly a joke. Don't include...
I've been through my 2nd mid-Atlantic winter with RWD. Yes, we've had snow, and the car performed remarkably well in slush and 6" of snow. I guess it is all that weight.
I've driven the 4S for several days as a loaner. I am always mystified when they call the RWD slow. It's far quicker than...
My local (Silver Spring MD) has ONE certified Taycan tech.
I spent 45 minutes with him recently reviewing my 23 Taycan
He said there are many small incremental changes year to year - no one big thing.
he gets detailed instructions with each new model year of continual improvements
I have no...
