Sold my 992 after 18 months for similar reason. Ie wife was still busy and working, not enough room for my 2 boys. It was a second car plurely for pleasure, and there was no pleasure driving it on my own.
Once i fully retired, i traded my range rover gor a ct 4s.
No regrets.
None.
Can take all...
I have the same car , same year and encounter plenty of speed bumps. Have never noticed any unusual thuds, soft, hard or otherwise. Get it booked in. It's an easy enough thing to check on a test drive, and wise to do so sooner rather than later.
Octopus wouldn't accept my wife's macan whilst my taycan was on. It didn't seem to matter when i plugged it in with the taycan's profile and charged her car with it using the porsche app. She did get an erroneous schedule appearing in her app.
i remember going through all this kinda stuff when...
I've seen the schedule that IOG sets out. I have a feeling that it conflicts with the porsche app. The thing is, the car has to ask for the charge. I'll have to mess about with it when i don't have to go anywhere the next morning.
hi, i have OIG, but it has the exact schedule. My Andersen wall unit has no schedule. This morning, charge has been paused before it got to 100% , and lo and behold, there's a new random schedule on my porsche app.
Note that the new schedule has been toggled on, and my 5.30 schedule has been...
7 weeks into ownership of 2025 CT 4S ex demo. So far so good, except...
1.Random departure times are appearing on my app, and it's messing with the schedule that a fellow forum guru helped me set up.
Tonight i had to toggle off this random dep time and toggle on my set dep time twice. Eventually...
I was in the same boat in July. My flexibility is actually improving as i get used to it. Having previously been driving range rovers for 30 years, it's gone from one small step for this man, to one giant leap up. I feel your pain!
as an aside, when do you put winter tyres on? I bought my first ever set when i bought my ct. opted for 19" wheels and tyres from Porsche. Never used them before , as i always had range rovers with all weather tyres.
I'd appreciate any advice.
Totally understand the concept you have explained, as it matches my experience.
I generally charge when the car's reserve drops in to double digits. I then set the departure time for 5.30am which is the end of the off peak period. I usually set the car to charge to 100% and then plug in around...
Here's the issue i have with no start time available on my taycan. If i plug in my taycan to my andersen charger, the taycan starts to charge right away. If i set a schedule on the andersen to charge from 23.30-5.30, the app flags an error. It will not charge at all. I have to cancel the...
I'm in a similar position to you except i have an andersen 22kwh supply.
My main gripe is that the porsche app doesn't have the ability to set s start time, only an rnd time. I find this infuriating.
I've had my j1.2 for a month now. 1st test drive was feb/ march. 2nd test drive was july. Both times i mentioned i had 3 phase power, both times the sales guy told me i could charge at 22kw.
I purchased the Andersen A2 wall unit which can supply 22kwh.
Turns out , it's not possible.
It's very...
