I'm a fairly tall guy - around 6ft 3in - and on long journeys of over an hour or two I find I get quite uncomfortable in the seat.
This didn't happen in my old VW Golf and my partner who is 5ft 5in has no issues on the same journeys in the passanger seat.
Any other tall drivers find this? How...
Have done a lot of Googling on this but still a bit lost. Seeking the wisdom of the forum.
I charged up recently on a 120kw Instvolt and only got ~60kw. Some factors:
Charged from about 10%-75% over 45 mins or so
Battery was cold on arrival
For most of the time there was another car using the...
If I set the destination or stopover as a charger shown in the Porsche sat nav the car will preheat the battery. But if I want to stop at a charger not shown in the navigation, is there a way to get the car to preheat for that stop?
I thought of two things that might work:
1) Add a...
My car is due to arrive soon, so I've been checking chargers on Zap Map to plan a journey I'll have to do fairly regularly - which is to drive from London to either Darlington or Northumberland with no charging at the destinations.
Looking at the reviews of chargers like Wetherby (new Gridserve...
There's quite a bit of discussion on this forum regarding whether the noise insulating glass affects mobile reception too much. I wondered if the impact might be country/specific. How do you find it in the UK?
I've got a deposit down for a new Taycan Turbo which I expect to be delivered at some point in the distant future.
Since EVs generally cost more carbon to produce than non-EVs (although generally less over the lifetime of the vehicle) I'm interested in how much it would cost for me to offset my...
Does anyone have experience with both the 20s and 21s and can comment on the cabin noise?
The Mission E wheels looks fabulous but I would also like a relatively quiet cabin at motorway speeds.
I live in East London where the streets can often get narrow when there's two way traffic and cars parked down both sides. In my Golf GTE I'm often squeezing through little gaps and I'm aware that I won't be able to do that so well in the Taycan.
Do any of you find the car is just a bit...
I see US people saying that their dealerships have allocations and so wait times for new orders can vary. In this case it makes to call around when placing a new order.
Is it the same here or does it not matter where you place your order?
I’m close to ordering a new 4s, but due to wait times it’ll be a year until I actually get it.
I see a lot of complaints about software issues which seem fixable.
I’m wondering if Porsche has a good track record on other cars for fixing software issues? In which case by the time I get the car...
