Placing my order for my 4S CT which will be replacing my 2020 4S Sedan. I've spent too many hours in the configurator and I'm ready to pull the trigger on this build. Only thing is, everyone except my teenage son think I'm crazy for this spec lol.
Let's get some opinions
I've seen a handful of threads where 2020/21 owners were offered close to or over what they paid to upgrade to a 2022.
Just curious if this has been a common occurrence?
If so:
What part of the world are you in?
Were you offered:
A little under what you originally paid?
Same amount you...
I've had my Taycan 4S for 1.5 years and driven over 22,000Km (14,000Miles). Whenever I switch to Range mode the car always went to a front wheel drive scenario once I got to my cruising speed. Only on acceleration would the rear wheels engage.
I took the car in yesterday for a recall update...
Just finished a day trip today and noticed that when entering a destination in the navigation the indicated range drops. I started this morning at 100% charge which showed 440km (273Miles) and the moment I entered a destination in the nav it dropped to 350km (217Miles). I then turned off the nav...
I may be losing my mind but I'm pretty sure that somehow my car is sitting higher than it was. In the low setting the car looks higher than before. In the low setting the tires were very close to the fenders and the gap was barely visible. I had the WMA5 and WMA7 update done a while ago and...
After the WMA5 and WMA7 update to my 2020 Taycan I finally had the Active Lane Keeping and Innodrive options on my Porsche Connect store available for purchase as a Function on Demand.
I proceeded to purchase them and Porsche has not been able to activate them for over 10 days. It looks like...
I like the design of these new wheels and figured they would fit on a regular Taycan since the other wheels are also available for the Cross Turismo.
what are your thoughts on this?
Found this on Suncoastparts: https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/pktaysills.html
Anyone do this?
I picked up my 4S without the sport design and regret not having the side skirts. This looks like an inexpensive and simple modification but I'm not sure what would be involved in the...
Just confirmed on the Porsche connect store that any FOD option is only available for 2021 models. If you have ACC and want Innodrive as a FOD download...not happening. Active lane assit...nope.
I find it rather pathetic that Porsche would leave out those that bought the fist batch of Taycan’s...
Someone from Germany posted this in a Taycan Facebook group. Apparently it is a software update that includes the following:
Improvements on charging, battery capacity improvements, improvements on driving dynamics, seat position presets, park distance control, optimization on the curved...
Today I took my first mini road trip in my 4S with the 93kW battery.
Started the day with a timer set to charge to 100% at time of departure which read 290 miles on my guess o meter. The highest I’ve seen since my ownership of 1000 miles.
Started by planning a set of DC fast chargers using a...
Anyone heard any rumours as to when we will have Function on Demand start offering options for download?
I believe Innodrive will be available and I don’t have it in my car...it was an in stock unit with ACC but no Innodrive.
I understand that the daily charge profile should be capped at 85%. When a longer drive is required Direct Charge to 100% is fine. But what about your daily use...in the event where on the week end you are running multiple errands and you leave the house multiple time to run a quick errand, do...
I’ve seen a number of posts showing 270 miles and more in range.
From what I understand the car gets a set of data based on your driving style and average KW/h and then approximates what your range will be at X SOC in X drive setting.
So far at 85% SOC my car gives me a range of 205 miles...
I'm picking up my car Saturday. In trying to be proactive I had an electrician come in and install a NEMA 14-50 with a 50A breaker on my panel before taking delivery of the car.
Not very smart of me...the NEMA 14-50 plug in my garage is installed 3 feet off the ground. Only to realize the...
I've seen a few threads mention this but none really discuss this in great detail.
All the wheels offered from Porsche have a closed design for minimum drag to improve the range. This is a choice Porsche has made and it seems logical. On the other hand the signature Mission E wheel is a very...
