This may be a well known phenomenon but it does seem that people get way more motion sickness in my taycan vs my previous car - alfa giulia qv.
The alfa had about 510bhp and was driven in same spirited manner.
Think it is the lack of audio warning that bat shit crazy mode is engaged that does...
seems that parking sensors are not too clever at seeing wooden posts - managed to tap into one that popped the reverse camera housing out. no damage. just needs clipping back in. just off the phone from my OPC. That'll be £750 sir.... (they say they would have to remove bumper etc to do...
Getting fed up with this. had the same on my 4s now exactly the same on my gts.
everything at factory spec - ie allignment and pressures. sure I drive briskly at times but I am not at qually lap balls out mode ever - this is a heavy electric car afterall. but, goddamit, it's a ruddy porsche...
probably very late to the party on this but cannot see a thread covering this.
2023 gts - put it on charge last night. this morning had charged to around 80% (not exactly 80%) and the charger (myenergi zappi) had tripped. put the charger back on and now the car won't charge on the ac - screen...
Moved from a 4s with 20's shod with pilot sports to a gts with 21s with goodyear eagles.
Steering feel on both nothing to write home about (no suprises there with electric steering) but definitely heavier and more lifeless on the gts - both running at correct tyre pressures.
wonder if...
Not sure if this is against the rules but here goes nothing. I own a company called Gtechniq - figured that an auto forum would be a great place to poll on this. - Text from outbound comms pasted below. NB we can extend the offer on the free detail pretty much globally as we have...
have the HVB cell module check and BMCe software outstanding. Do the finance companies insist on this being done before I toss the keys to the Manheim guy picking it up?
One a 23 car the other a 22. Both on very low mileage and both have the rear wheel steer and PVT that are my absolute must haves.
Am I right in thinking the GTS has slightly higher spring rate and thicker roll bars vs the Turbo and a bit more RWD biased? This may swing it for me as both have...
Coming to the end of my PCP on a 4s sport turismo. Will be handing back to the finance company.
Thinking to get a used GTS wagon.
Question for UK owners.
How many miles have you covered? What size rim? How many blow outs? Have a couple of mates who have had 21" rims and had several blow...
specifically for the underside plastics. Both of the small diffuser things in front of the rear wheels have been torn off by going through floodwater and the front undertray ripped when the ruddy lift that was engaged going into a charge station de engaged on the way out. All seems flimsy as hell.
My hunch is that those with 21s get way more blow outs than those on 20s. 50k miles on 20s in Northamptonshire which I think has the ignominious glory of being the potholl king of the country that is the king of potholes in Europe.
Tried doing a poll thing but I am too thick to work it out...
PCP up in June. Due to the eyewatering depreciation I am going to go used next.
Absolute musts for me are 4 wheel steering and the torque vectoring thing. Specced both of these in my 4s but it seems not many do. My dealer has drawn a blank on Turbo and Turbo Ss with these optioned.
Think...
Seems to have cured itself but curious to see if anyone else has had the same.
We have a great "yump" on the road near my house and my kids insist that we get airborne over it every time. On landing power is always down for a second or two as you would expect with traction control kicking in...
Posting in case others have this issue.
Had no connection for a week or so which annoyed my daughter more than anyone as I couldn't pre-heat the car.
When I got into the car with my phone the LTE service went from no connection to connected.
Fixed by turning my phone off and starting -...
can't see other posts about this - got this goofy error message just now. am guessing the parking break is not functioning. car works just fine so am assuming the issue is that the parking brake is not going on.
anyone had the same?
