So, in my quest to piece together a perfect blend of carbon add ons, I'm trying to find which pieces from different manufacturers compliment each other best. I can't find a full kit from one place that flows, so piece meal it is.
Decided to start with the FD V2 lip. It's a 3 piece situation...
Went for my annual Amelia Island Concours trip with the crew and wound up finding some cool spots. One was at the same restaurant that we've been to previously, but the cover of night was much more inspirational.
I learned that Shell Recharge is a thing, and charged at South of The Border...
Annnnnd, it's great. Install was pretty easy, minus the horrible German > English translation. But, once you figure out where all of the sensors are for the ride height, it's a decent paced process.
My only gripe is that the app is pretty clunky and slow, but I spoke with someone from CETE who...
A couple of vintage 911 friends and I took a spirited drive out to the beach on Saturday for some evening shots. By the time we were ready, the sky was overcast and pretty gross. Figured we'd do some soft lighting shots regardless, but halfway through were treated to one of the best sunsets I've...
I had thought about getting this for my Macan a couple of years back, but never got around to it. Seems like it's a pretty basic concept, and companies like H&R and Cargraphic have been building aftermarket modules like this for a while.
Thinking this will be a bit more like my M3 and VW air...
Finally have my fitment all sorted out :) It was fun having a hand in the process for BC Forged. I was sent some basic templates and got to measure for offsets re: caliper clearance to get nice and flush.
Also, lucked out tire wise. I had no idea the Pirelli P Zero Elects were on sale in the...
So, I've got my eye on a set of 2 piece wheels, and I've been talking direct with the manufacturer about sizes, offsets, weight, etc.
Is anyone on here running multipiece wheels, and have you noticed any concerning reduction in range? I didn't buy this car to be a range-queen, but I also don't...
So, on my first trip using public chargers, I’m finding that I can’t use any public fast chargers. My first stop was an EA station that I was at for about...an hour before giving up. Every time that the plug was inserted, the status ring would immediately turn red and the console would tell me...
Got my lowering links from FVD Brombacher yesterday as well as some Rennline 15mm spacers all around. The car is only 15mm lower on all settings, but it made a dramatic difference. I'd take it out for some proper photos, but it's pouring out here :(
Took delivery on Thursday, and after a bit of set-up headaches, it's chilling at it's new home. A friend and I set up the 240V 15-40 socket about a week ago (much to my happiness, there was already an empty conduit going from my main panel to the garage) and I installed the charging dock yesterday.
I had my place in line back in December of 2018, but hadn't placed my order until July of this year (2020). My salesman had given me a mid-october delivery date, but I was being realistic and not expecting it until November.
Anyway, got an email from him last night asking if I was around...and...
Hopefully not me, as my delivery looks to be in October. Have a feeling I won't be seeing any on the road until I'm in mine, though...Long Island isn't the most EV saturated place :/
Not that it's going to make any difference, because I'm going to FINALLY order my 4S this afternoon after putting my deposit in back in December of 2018.
Anyway, does anyone have shots of their Taycan parked on it's lowest PASM setting? Just tossing around the idea of bumping up a size from the...
Hey all...
Configuring my 4S, and the wheel choices are all horrible.
Do we have any specs for the wheels yet besides diameter and width?
I'd like to do some research while waiting for delivery so that I can slap wheel on as soon as it hits my garage :)

Porsche is getting ready to bring the Taycan, its first all-electric car, to production in the next few months and it started giving test rides to some European media to hype the car.
In one of those test...
